Position Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Hotel Facilities Maintenance Specialist to become a vital part of our team. In this role, you will be tasked with performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure that all hotel equipment and facilities operate smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing routine maintenance and repair tasks on the hotel's systems, including plumbing, electrical, and mechanical components.
  • Responding swiftly to maintenance requests or emergencies, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently.
  • Conducting regular assessments of the hotel's facilities and equipment to detect maintenance needs and ensure timely resolutions.
  • Maintaining detailed records of all maintenance activities, including costs, completed work, and materials utilized.
  • Supporting the implementation of preventative maintenance strategies to keep all systems functioning optimally.
  • Assisting in the oversight of external contractors and suppliers, ensuring high-quality work is completed within budget constraints.
  • Complying with health and safety regulations, ensuring all maintenance tasks are performed safely.
  • Contributing to additional projects and tasks as directed by the Maintenance Manager or senior management.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Prior experience in a maintenance role within a hotel or similar setting.
  • Strong technical abilities and a solid understanding of building and facility systems.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
