About the Role

Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP is seeking a highly skilled Dispute Resolution Solicitor to join our team. As a key member of our disputes practice, you will play a crucial role in providing expert insights and analysis on complex litigation matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and Analyze Litigation Developments: Stay up-to-date on the latest litigation trends and developments, and disseminate key insights to our lawyers and clients.
  • Capture and Share Insights: Identify trends and themes from client mandates and share them internally, reflecting them in internal knowledge products and training sessions.
  • Drive Business Growth: Help grow our business by identifying opportunities for client-facing knowledge products, thought leadership, and client training.
  • Develop Lawyer Skills: Act as an internal advisor and consultant to our lawyers, providing expert guidance on complex litigation matters.
Requirements
  • Qualified Lawyer: You must be a qualified lawyer in the UK with a strong academic background.
  • Relevant Experience: You should have a high level of relevant experience as a fee earner or knowledge lawyer in a disputes practice, with a strong understanding of mass claims, consumer law, and anti-trust litigation.
  • Commercial Awareness: You must demonstrate strong commercial awareness, considering legal developments through a commercial lens and anticipating their impact on clients.
  • Leadership and Communication Skills: You should be able to act as a leader, take ownership of projects, and drive them forward, with excellent oral and written communication skills.
