Job Title: Immigration Knowledge Development Lawyer

Job Type: Part Time

Location: Remote (with occasional visits to the London office)

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Immigration Knowledge Development Lawyer to join our team at Jameson Legal. As an Immigration Knowledge Development Lawyer, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our firm's knowledge and expertise in immigration law.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate, design, and prepare internal and client legal training on immigration law
  • Monitor legal developments and emerging areas of law, providing horizon scanning updates to our immigration lawyers and clients
  • Manage our immigration team's knowledge pages on the firm's intranet
  • Work with our Partners and Risk and Compliance teams to implement and embed best practice and risk management practices across the team
  • Respond to legal queries from fee earners

Requirements:

  • Qualified lawyers with upwards of 5 years' PQE specialising in Immigration (both private and corporate immigration matters)
  • Experience gained within notable international or City law firms
  • Prior experience working as an Immigration Knowledge Development Lawyer, or be an Immigration Lawyer looking to transition into a Knowledge Development Lawyer role
  • Experience in contributing to precedents, know-how, and training
