Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Programme Risk Manager to enhance our Project Controls team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in establishing and promoting risk management practices across various programmes and projects, fostering a culture that prioritizes risk-informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Quantitative Schedule Risk Analysis (QSRA) and Quantitative Cost Risk Analysis (QCRA) services across multiple projects, employing industry best practices and producing comprehensive Risk Analysis reports.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of risk registers throughout all phases of project lifecycles.
  • Ensure the availability of detailed information for all identified risks.
  • Collaborate with the commercial team to assess and analyze commercial risks effectively.
  • Manage risk databases and ensure data integrity across various systems.
  • Assist project teams in clearly articulating their objectives and associated risks.
  • Ensure timely delivery of high-quality risk management products.
  • Utilize appropriate risk assessment tools and methodologies to identify potential risks.
  • Regularly review and update risk treatment strategies to address new or evolving risks and fulfill reporting obligations.
  • Document all work in accordance with established risk management protocols.
  • Ensure the accuracy of risk data communicated to project stakeholders.
  • Proactively highlight any current or potential risk-related issues to project management.
  • Adhere to approved processes, procedures, and systems to maintain compliance.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience is preferred.
  • Professional membership in a recognized chartered body is advantageous.
  • Certification in an appropriate project management discipline is desirable.

We are looking for candidates with proven expertise as a Risk specialist, particularly within project delivery environments, ideally in the nuclear or similarly regulated sectors.
