About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Sutton Primary Care Networks. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals in delivering exceptional services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the provision of patient care, including new patient health checks, annual health checks, and other clinical activities.
  • Support the practice clinical team in the delivery of prescribed programmes of patient care, adhering to specific practice guidelines and protocols.
  • Participate in administrative and professional responsibilities, including accurate recording of patient notes, maintaining clinical computer systems, and completing necessary documentation.
  • Contribute to the collection and maintenance of statistical information for regular and ad-hoc reports.
  • Attend and participate in practice meetings as required.
  • Assist in the formulation of practice philosophy, strategy, and policy.
Requirements
  • Experience working directly in a healthcare assistant role, adult health and social care, learning support, or public health/health improvement.
  • Experience working within a GP Practice.
  • NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • Basic first aid knowledge and health and safety awareness.
