About the Role:
Royal Mail Group is seeking a highly skilled Solutions Architect to join our team. As a Solutions Architect, you will play a critical role in shaping the technical direction of our organization and ensuring that our IT projects are well-planned, executed, and delivered on time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of technical architectures for large-scale IT projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and business stakeholders, to ensure that technical solutions meet business needs.
- Design and implement complex systems architectures, leveraging expertise in systems delivery, analysis, design, implementation, testing, and support.
- Develop and maintain technical standards, principles, and policies, ensuring consistency and adherence to industry standards.
- Work closely with other Solution Architects to ensure that projects are engineered consistently, regardless of supplier, technology, or methodology used.
Requirements:
- Significant experience in leading teams of Solution Architects and multi-disciplinary teams.
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale digital transformation projects.
- Expertise in systems delivery, including analysis, design, implementation, testing, and support.
- Mastery of defining technical architecture design principles and planning, design, and implementation of complex systems architectures.
- Experience working with collaboration tools, such as Jira and Confluence.
- Agile training or experience, including Scrum and Kanban.
Qualifications:
- Architecture training or qualifications, such as TOGAF, Microsoft Azure certified, or AWS certified.
