GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and dependable individual to take on the role of Classroom Supervisor within our partner educational institutions.

Role Summary:

As a Classroom Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the effective operation of the school by managing classes during the absence of teaching staff. Your responsibilities will include maintaining classroom discipline, fostering a conducive learning environment, and providing support to students with their educational tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage classrooms in the absence of the regular educator.
  • Implement pre-prepared lesson plans and resources provided by teaching staff.
  • Cultivate a positive educational atmosphere and ensure students remain focused on their tasks.
  • Provide assistance and guidance to students as required.
  • Maintain effective communication with teaching personnel and school administration.
  • Assist with various duties as needed, including exam supervision and administrative responsibilities.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Experience in an educational environment is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong skills in classroom management.
  • Ability to make lessons engaging and tailored to diverse learning needs.
  • A proactive and flexible approach to work.
  • An updated CV covering the last ten years, excluding any unexplained gaps, and an enhanced DBS registered to the updated service (or willingness to apply for one).
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young individuals.
