We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cover Supervisor to join our team at Protocol Education. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising students in the absence of a teacher, managing classroom behaviour, and ensuring a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise students in the classroom, ensuring their safety and well-being
- Manage classroom behaviour, using positive reinforcement techniques to promote good behaviour
- Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans, adapting to the needs of individual students
- Assist students with their work, providing support and guidance as needed
- Report back to teaching staff on student progress and any issues that may arise
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics
- Previous experience working with children or young people
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
This role involves working in a school environment, which may require standing for long periods of time. The successful candidate must be able to handle challenging behaviour from students and work collaboratively with teaching staff.
