About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Mental Health Practitioner to join our Integrated Mental Health Team Mercian, based at Cherry Orchard in Tamworth. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing care needs and contributing to the formulation of the person's needs and the development of a relevant plan based upon the person's negotiated goals and relevant evidence-based interventions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and plan care for individuals with complex mental health needs
  • Lead on the care and treatment of individuals, working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team
  • Support junior colleagues in their development and facilitate student nurses in their training
  • Contribute to the development of the team's practice and service delivery

Person Specification

We are looking for a Registered Mental Health Professional with experience of working with adults experiencing mental health-related difficulties. Essential qualifications include registration with the relevant Professional Register (NMC/HCPC) and a psychological interventions qualification (CBT, EMDR, CAT, DBT, Family Therapy) is desirable.
