Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Traffic Management Operative Trainee to join our team. As a Traffic Management Operative Trainee, you will be responsible for undertaking traffic counts, calls to clients and subcontractors, timings and near misses. You will also be responsible for maintaining temporary traffic lights, installing, maintaining and removing temporary traffic management, and helping and guiding new trainees once qualified.
Responsibilities
- Undertake traffic counts, calls to clients and subcontractors, timings and near misses.
- Maintenance of temporary traffic lights.
- Installing, maintaining and removing temporary traffic management such as deploying: cones, signs, frames, sandbags and other equipment.
- Helping and guiding new trainees, once qualified.
Requirements
- Full driving licence, with no more than 6 points. Any driving bans must have been expired for at least 5 years.
- Able to pass a drug and alcohol test.
- Positive "can-do" attitude.
- Adaptability and Flexibility.
- Meticulous attention to detail.

Working Hours
General hours of work are 40 hours per week with overtime opportunity. Hours and shift patterns tend to fall on days; however, you may be also required to work evenings, nights and weekends. You will also be required to be on the on-call rota especially if you have the use of a company van.
