Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Traffic Management Operative Trainee to join our team in Crawley. As a Traffic Management Operative Trainee, you will play a key role in supporting our operations team and contributing to the delivery of our services.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake traffic counts, calls to clients and subcontractors, timings and near misses.
- Maintenance of temporary traffic lights
- Installing, maintaining and removing temporary traffic management such as deploying: cones, signs, frames, sandbags and other equipment
- Helping and guiding new trainees, once qualified
Requirements
- Full driving licence, with no more than 6 points. Any driving bans must have been expired for at least 5 years
- Able to pass a drug and alcohol test your offer will depend on the outcome of this

Working Hours
General hours of work are 40 hours per week with overtime opportunity. Hours and shift patterns tend to fall on days; however, you may be also required to work evenings, nights and weekends. You will also be required to be on the on-call rota especially if you have the use of a company van.
