Senior Carer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Carer to join our Complex Care team at Superior Healthcare. As a Senior Carer, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with complex and long-term health conditions to live safely in their own homes.

With a strong focus on patient-centered care, you will work closely with our team of Nurses and Field Care Supervisors to provide high-quality support and care to our clients. Your expertise and experience will be essential in ensuring that our clients receive the best possible care and support.

As a Senior Carer, you will be required to work within one of our hubs in Kent, supporting a number of clients and traveling to assignments as needed. You will have the flexibility to work a minimum of 35 hours per week, up to a maximum of 42 hours, depending on shift duration.

We offer a competitive rate of pay, starting at £13.20 per hour, plus holiday pay. You will also have access to thorough induction and ongoing paid training, as well as opportunities to work towards an NVQ/Diploma. Our company pension and Blue Light Card are also available to our employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support individuals with complex and long-term health conditions to live safely in their own homes
  • Work closely with our team of Nurses and Field Care Supervisors to provide high-quality support and care
  • Travel to assignments as needed, with flexibility to work a minimum of 35 hours per week
  • Participate in thorough induction and ongoing paid training
  • Work towards an NVQ/Diploma

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 12 months experience in a care setting, with previous experience of supporting adults/children with complex care needs
  • Possession of, or willingness to work towards, a level 3 NVQ qualification or similar
  • Confident, positive interpersonal skills with the ability to lead a team
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Satisfactory Enhanced DBS disclosure
  • Full, clean UK driving licence, with access to your own vehicle
  • Evidence of the right to work in the UK
