Property Services Operative

The Role
As a Property Services Operative at QinetiQ, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality operations services by providing support for planned or requested activities. Your duties will vary depending on the task requirements, but you will be responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide robust and flexible support for routine maintenance tasks, grounds maintenance, cleaning, lift and shift, and escorting.
- Ensure the robust application of health, safety, and environmental procedures and processes.
- Deliver general service tasks, recording for audit purposes, and conducting the receipting, sorting, recording, and delivery of post and parcels on site.
- Oversee the collection of waste items from across the site and disposal in the correct receptacles, including kitchen and dry waste recycling bins.
- Assist in resolving customer issues with outstanding tasks or deliveries and ensure the appropriate movement of consumables and materials across the site.
Requirements:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Manual Handling awareness/risk appreciation.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
