About the Role

The Mechanical Maintenance Team Lead will coordinate the delivery of property operations in a mechanical discipline, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks. This role involves enabling users to occupy and conduct business as usual in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team in a specific discipline to deliver site requirements within that field, managing task types of work to time, cost, and quality.
  • Prioritize work, reconcile conflicting demands, and review/revise timing to meet agreed deadlines, helping to deliver the site's budget.
  • Ensure effective facilitation and coordination of third-party contractors.
  • Advise on management and supervision of maintenance of buildings.
  • Lead on distinct elements as set out by the Property Operations Manager, such as audits and risk registers.

Requirements

  • Experience leading a team.
  • Understanding of health and safety and environmental legislation.
  • Sound experience with dealing in subcontractor services.
  • Understanding of contract management principles and experience with procurement of suppliers, including Service Delivery Management, Relationship Management, and Contract Administration.
  • Knowledge of relevant UK Regulatory Bodies, Local Authorities, and associated legislation.
