Site Services Operative

About the Role
As a Site Services Operative at Greggs, you will play a vital role in ensuring the daily running and maintenance of our manufacturing and distribution centres are carried out to the highest standards. Your primary responsibility will be to support the day-to-day hygiene operations of your site, ensuring that our colleagues work in the safest and most hygienic environments, and that our loyal customers receive the highest quality of products.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the site, including laundry, waste disposal, recycling, and traywash facilities.
- Ensure that all equipment and chemicals are used safely and in accordance with food safety, health and safety, and hygiene processes.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced, high-performance environment, using a variety of equipment and chemicals across a range of tasks.
- Support the maintenance of high-level canteen and external site facilities.
- Work in a chilled environment and be exposed to flour and dust.
About You
- You will have experience in cleaning and maintenance, ideally in a food hygiene environment.
- You will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, following processes and procedures, and meeting timescales and targets.
- You will be able to stand for long periods, lift and carry, and perform other tasks such as cleaning.
- You will have some exposure to using SAP systems (desirable).
