  • Active Monitoring – Utilize security tools to safeguard the organization’s boundaries, endpoints, servers, and cloud systems.
  • Incident Response – Demonstrate proficiency in managing security incidents in collaboration with both internal teams and external security operations centers.
  • Security Assessment – Contribute to a security testing program that evaluates critical systems and services to identify and address vulnerabilities.
  • Audit Support – Assist in regular internal and external audit processes.
  • Project Engagement – Promote a security-by-design approach by articulating security requirements and ensuring thorough due diligence.
  • Continuous Development – Advance the security function by continuously enhancing technical systems and documented processes.
  • Threat Awareness – Stay informed about emerging threats and strategies to protect the organization’s systems.
  • Policy Development – Support the creation and implementation of security policies and standards.
  • Reporting – Compile and analyze data to aid in the generation of security-related reports.
  • Data Protection – Ensure effective data security through various prevention tools and techniques.
  • Vendor Collaboration – Build strong relationships with third-party vendors to ensure proper configuration and communication channels.

Qualifications Required:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience in Information/Cyber Security.
  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Microsoft security qualifications, ISC2, ISACA, or SANS GIAC.

Experience Needed:

  • Proven experience across multiple areas of cyber security.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of information security principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to deploy and manage security tools effectively.
  • Experience with audits, assurance reviews, and risk assessments in complex environments.
