Position Overview

The Cybersecurity Pre-Sales Consultant will play a crucial role in supporting our client's growth within the cybersecurity domain. This position offers a competitive salary of £55k - £60k with an additional £20k OTE, and will initially require full-time onsite presence for the first three months, transitioning to a hybrid model thereafter.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with the broader pre-sales team to integrate cybersecurity considerations into proposals.
  • Serve as the cybersecurity subject matter expert, delivering training and insights to both internal teams and clients.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to devise tailored security strategies that meet their unique requirements.
  • Work alongside the sales team to formulate effective strategies for client engagement.
  • Design and execute comprehensive cyber incident response plans.
  • Provide expert guidance during cybersecurity incidents to ensure effective resolution.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a pre-sales or related role.
  • Familiarity with security standards such as ISO27002, NIST CSF, CIS, or NCSE CAF.
  • Understanding of threat management tools and endpoint detection systems.
  • Knowledge of Security Operations Center (SOC) processes and protocols.
  • Ability to confidently discuss security matters and develop proposals that resonate with clients.
