We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with mental health nurses, social care practitioners, and other professionals to provide high-quality psychological services to children and young people.
Your role will involve providing clinical supervision to Assistant Psychologists and Psychological Therapists, supporting the Consultant Psychologist in developing psychological thinking within the team, and undertaking service development projects. You will also have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of mental health difficulties, including depression, anxiety, trauma, and eating disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical supervision to Assistant Psychologists and Psychological Therapists
- Support the Consultant Psychologist in developing psychological thinking within the team
- Undertake service development projects
- Work with a diverse range of mental health difficulties
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality psychological services
We are looking for a Clinical Psychologist with a postgraduate doctoral level training in clinical psychology, registration with the Health Care and Professionals Council (HCPC), and experience of working with children and young people. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
You will also have a strong understanding of research design and methodology, including complex multivariate data analysis, and be able to communicate highly technical and clinically sensitive information to clients, their families, and other professional colleagues.
