About the Role:

Noble Recruiting is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Codes & ADR Coordinator to join our team. As a Codes & ADR Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) competent authority and Consumer Codes Approval Scheme areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the approval process of alternative dispute resolution bodies and Approved Code Sponsor organisations in the UK.
  • Participate in the auditing of alternative dispute resolution bodies to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Develop and maintain accurate reports and presentations to support the team's objectives.
  • Record and collate data as required to support the team's decision-making process.
  • Arrange and attend meetings and audits to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Deal with consumer complaints about ADR and CCAS bodies in a professional and timely manner.
  • Conduct website sweeps to investigate and report on website content and its adherence to approval rules.
  • Develop and maintain sufficient consumer legal knowledge to review ADR cases for legal correctness.
  • Communicate effectively with consumers and traders through various means, including written correspondence and emails.
  • Deal with incoming communications in a professional and timely manner.
  • Comply with all performance, quality, and data protection requirements set by the organisation.
  • Stay up-to-date with all relevant UK Consumer ADR legislation to ensure compliance.
  • Assist with the timely response to Department for Business & Trade (DBT) on matters including reporting, consultations, and ADR development.
  • Utilise the information generated by the team to support consumer policy, promotion, and public relations activities.
  • Support promotion and information giving activities, including attending events and producing promotional/information materials.
  • Occasionally travel overnight for audits, conferences, and similar events.
  • Assist the executive and manager as required.

Person Specification:

Essential:

  • Ability to produce accurate work to tight deadlines and within required standards and requirements.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and unsupervised.
  • Ability to self-learn using available resources such as internet, reference materials, and appropriate research.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks.
  • Ability to communicate with different audiences.
  • Commitment to delivering team objectives.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to switch between tasks when required and prioritise tasks with little assistance.

Desirable:

  • Presentation skills to a variety of audiences.
  • Experience of auditing.
