Evolve Graduate Development Scheme

Our two-year graduate development scheme offers a unique opportunity to join our engineering career pathway and contribute to the safety and security of the UK. As a member of our graduate development community, you will be involved in activities linked to our current or future nuclear warheads, nuclear threat reduction, manufacturing solutions, or our huge building and infrastructure programme.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a knowledge of precision components and systems, including concept generation, design, manufacture, and processing, assembly, safety, and reliability, maintenance, testing, and trials, commissioning.
  • Work on real projects, with flexible placement options to focus on a specific technical area or a wide range of diverse project experiences.
  • Receive a core programme of leadership, business, and 'soft skills' training, and support to start working towards professional registration as a Chartered Engineer.
Requirements
  • Recent graduate or will graduate by September 2025.
  • Studying for a degree within an engineering field related to core areas, such as building services, systems engineering, manufacturing and production, robotics, electrical and electronic, or civil engineering.
  • Minimum of a 2:2 in your degree.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for the role.
  • UK national who has not lived overseas within the last 10 years.
