About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Home Manager to join our team at Priory Group. As a Deputy Home Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Home Manager in ensuring the highest standards of care and service are delivered to our residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Home Manager in maintaining the home in accordance with regulatory bodies
  • Line manage the senior team to ensure high standards of care and service are achieved
  • Support the Home Manager in managing resources to maximize sales and profits
  • Support residents to live as independently as possible, including personal care
  • Act as a senior member of staff on shift and support residents and staff team
  • Build and maintain lasting relationships with residents and their families
  • Take residents out and about, including walking, local cafes, and local events
  • Contribute to the on-call rota and varied shift pattern

Requirements

  • Significant experience as a Deputy Manager in a care setting
  • Ability to make autonomous decisions and work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to build solid working relationships
  • Flexibility and ability to lead a team
  • Experience in supporting people in a proactive, person-centered way
  • Ability to deal with Mental Health and Non-verbal individuals
