Job Summary

Maximus is seeking a highly skilled Employment Coach to join our team. As an Employment Coach, you will play a critical role in supporting customers to address their barriers to employment and achieve sustainable employment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support customers to identify employment opportunities and develop personalized action plans to achieve their employment goals.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to customers to build their confidence, skills, and knowledge to secure and sustain employment.
  • Work with customers to identify and overcome barriers to employment, including health conditions, disabilities, and other challenges.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local employers to identify job opportunities and promote our services.
  • Collaborate with other agencies and services to provide holistic support to customers.
  • Monitor and report on customer progress and outcomes to ensure the delivery of excellent customer service.
  • Stay up-to-date with local labor market trends and developments to ensure our services are relevant and effective.

Requirements

  • GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths at grade 'C' or above or equivalent qualification or experience.
  • A strong commitment to personal and professional development.
  • Ability to work within Corporate Policy, Procedures and Health & Safety Legislation.
  • Commitment to the Company's safeguarding protocols.
  • Ability to carry out the duties of the job with reasonable adjustments.
  • Ability to meet the mobility requirements of the job.
  • Eligible to Work in the UK status.

Desirable

  • Member of IEP.
  • Emotional Intelligence.
  • Knowledge of the labour market, wider provision in the local area.
  • Experience of securing employment opportunities for a wide range of individuals.
  • Level 3 Award in Employability Services Sector or equivalent.
