About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Air Quality Graduate Consultant to join our team in the UK. As a key member of our Air Quality team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality air quality assessments and studies for a variety of projects with developers, local authorities, government, and industrial clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct air quality monitoring, including site assessment, preparation, and maintenance
  • Develop and implement air quality dispersion models in combination with GIS
  • Analyze data and create emissions inventories
  • Provide air quality input into environmental statements
  • Assist in the coordination of multi-disciplinary project teams
  • Prepare tenders and proposals

Requirements
  • MSc or PhD in Air Quality (Meteorology, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental Engineering, or Project Management and Climate Science)
  • Strong numeracy and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Self-motivation, enthusiasm, and a strong work ethic
Preferred Qualifications
  • Awareness of GIS, modeling, or programming skills
  • Previous experience in a consultancy environment or relevant voluntary experience
  • A full driving license, as the role will involve travel for site surveys
