Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership: Lead and manage a small team of Business Development Managers to deliver individual, team, and company targets.
- Daily Management: Conduct regular one-to-one meetings, quarterly performance reviews, coaching, recruitment, and daily support to ensure the team's success.
- Business Development: Proactively seek new clients to contribute to team and individual targets, manage the full sales process, and support the team as required.
- Maximizing Opportunities: Identify and capitalize on business opportunities by following best practices.
- Quarterly Sales Meetings: Hold regular sales team meetings to discuss progress, set goals, and provide feedback.
- Reporting and Strategy: Report to the Managing Director and work closely with the Senior Leadership team to develop and implement company strategy, driving overall business revenue.
- External Partnerships: Collaborate with external partners, accountants, brokers, and lenders to achieve business objectives.
- Proven Sales Leadership: Demonstrate a track record of successful sales leadership experience in a Financial Services company.
- High-Pressure Role: Show a proven ability to deliver results in a high-pressure environment.
- Team Management: Proven ability to manage a team while contributing to a team target.
- People Management: Excellent people management skills, with experience managing remote teams ideal.
- Recruitment and Onboarding: Track record of recruiting and onboarding sales candidates successfully.
- Financial Services Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Financial Services, particularly lending.
- Full Driving License: Possess a full driving license.
- Salary: Up to £70,000.
- Individual and Team Bonus: Monthly bonus payments, plus annual incentives.
- Holidays: 28 days holiday, plus bank holidays (closed over Christmas).
- Additional Holiday: Option to buy additional holiday.
- Mileage: Pay mileage at 45p per mile.
- Death in Service Policy: Death in service policy.
- Private Healthcare and Critical Illness Cover: Private healthcare and critical illness cover.
- Discount Packages: Discount packages.
- Save as You Earn Scheme: Save as you earn scheme, with options for Nest pension or company savings scheme.
