Responsibilities and Duties

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies for the TV category aimed at achieving essential performance metrics.
  • Formulate go-to-market plans, encompassing pricing, distribution, product assortment, and promotional strategies.
  • Lineup Oversight – Directly manage a specific segment of TV products, focusing on lineup optimization and initiatives to enhance operational efficiency in response to market dynamics.
  • Pricing Strategy – Oversee the management of pricing strategies by product and segment, ensuring promotional plans align with sales objectives and market forecasts.
  • Sales and Profit Analysis – Conduct thorough analyses of sales forecasts and marketing investments to maintain accurate target plans and inventory levels, achieving business profit goals.
  • Forecasting and Inventory Management – Own and prepare forecasts for assigned categories, collaborating with supply chain and sales teams to ensure optimal inventory throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Monitor weekly sales data by account and SKU to manage forecasts and address sales challenges, providing data-driven recommendations.
  • Work closely with sales teams and customers to understand their strategies and challenges, providing necessary marketing support for successful sales.
  • Facilitate sales and supply chain meetings, develop weekly forecasts, and confirm sales estimates to ensure supply chain efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the Training team to develop educational materials for sales personnel.
  • Present product lineup features and strategies at key customer meetings and events.
  • Conduct competitive market analysis utilizing various systems and online research.

Success Metrics

Achieving success in this role involves establishing connections and gaining comprehensive knowledge of Samsung's and competitors' product offerings. You will be expected to take full ownership of your areas, working independently and building strong relationships across various functions. Ultimately, you will drive the TV business, proactively identifying opportunities and risks while becoming an expert on Samsung products and competitor offerings.
