About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Facilities & Building Services Assistant to join our team at Northumbrian Water. As a key member of our facilities team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our main offices, grounds, and car parks.

Your primary responsibilities will include providing exceptional customer service to our colleagues, responding to helpdesk queries and calls, and supporting the reception team. You will also be responsible for managing our budget and costs within our corporate systems, arranging courier services, and performing various administrative tasks.

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, be proactive, and able to work unsupervised. You should also be comfortable working with data in Excel spreadsheets, producing pivot tables, and monthly reports. A full and valid driving license is also required to enable you to drive our pool cars.

About You

We are looking for a motivated and flexible individual who is passionate about delivering an outstanding workplace experience for our colleagues. You should have a proven track record of providing excellent customer service in a busy working environment, be able to respond effectively to changing priorities, and be comfortable contributing to the facilities team.
