We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mental Health Nurse to join our team at HMP Lewes. Main Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of mental health nurses to deliver a nurse-led service, promoting best practice and ensuring high standards of care.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of prisoners' mental health needs, using evidence-based frameworks and sound clinical judgment.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, working collaboratively with prisoners, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Provide expert clinical guidance and support to junior staff members, promoting their professional development and well-being.

Requirements

  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
