About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced National Account Manager to join our team at A.F. Blakemore. As a key member of our National Account team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our retail partners, driving sales growth and improving customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement site-specific Joint Business Plans in conjunction with our retail partners and their regional and area management teams.
  • Conduct regular store visits to monitor sales and service levels, investigate and resolve queries and issues raised.
  • Own an integrated contact strategy to build relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally, to deliver the highest level of customer service.
  • Support the implementation of initiatives to improve product mix, customer footfall and basket size whilst maintaining availability and client satisfaction.
  • Monitor and report on sales and service levels, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
Requirements
  • Full UK driving licence is essential.
  • High levels of numeracy and literacy are essential.
  • Self-starter with an ability to plan and meet deadlines.
  • Degree or equivalent is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a FMCG retail customer-facing role is preferred.
  • Strong evidence of the ability to build effective relationships.
  • Ability to build and deliver a customer plan that grows profitable retail and wholesale sales.
