**About the Role**

IntaPeople: STEM Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Test Engineer to join our client's innovative electronics manufacturing company in South Wales. As a key member of the Manufacturing Engineering NPI team, you will play a crucial role in driving innovation and efficiency across global sites.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Align NPI strategy with internal teams and suppliers to drive innovation and efficiency.
  • Assist in the design and test of various electro-mechanical fixtures and test equipment.
  • Lead the development of production documentation and inject expertise into design reviews to ensure products are built to the highest standards.
  • Champion Lean Manufacturing and ensure contract manufacturers are always at the forefront of the industry.
  • Manage the NPI industrialisation process, from process mapping to troubleshooting, ensuring smooth transitions from concept to production.
  • Design and support production setups, implement engineering changes, and analyse data to drive continuous improvement.

**Requirements**

  • Desirably a degree or apprenticeship in electronics manufacturing, coupled with 3+ years of hands-on experience.
  • Ideally proficiency in C#/LabVIEW/software development, and desirably understanding of electronic schematics and circuits.
  • Experience of New Product Introduction and testing electro-mechanical fixtures.
  • Mechanical troubleshooting skills and knowledge of quality processes like 5S, Kaizen, and Six Sigma.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

**What We Offer**
