Project Manager - Mechanical Engineering

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team in Rochester. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing full lifecycle projects, from bid generation to manufacture and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and manage projects from bid generation to manufacture and delivery
  • Deliver projects on time and on budget
  • Produce detailed works schedules, resource and project plans
  • Liaise with clients to keep them updated on project progress
  • Work with design, purchasing and production departments
  • Present project plans and reports to management
  • Manage risks and respond to issues
  • Maintain technical documentation
  • Mentor junior team members

Requirements:

  • Background in Mechanical Engineering (Degree qualified etc.)
  • Project Management skills/experience
  • Technical Mechanical Engineering knowledge
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and understand manufacturing processes
  • Strong client-facing experience
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
