Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Youth Worker to join our Behaviour Support Team at a reputable Mainstream Secondary School in Ealing. As a Behaviour Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing individualized support to students with challenging behaviour, working closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement behaviour plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one and group support to students with challenging behaviour
- Develop and implement behaviour plans in collaboration with teachers and other support staff
- Work closely with students to build positive relationships and promote social and emotional well-being
- Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement strategies to support students with challenging behaviour
- Participate in regular team meetings to discuss student progress and develop strategies to support students
Requirements:
- At least 1 year's experience working with young people, ideally in a school setting
- Strong behaviour management skills and ability to work with students with challenging behaviour
- Team Teach or physical intervention training desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
