We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef Assistant to join our team at Darwin Escapes.
This is a permanent position to work full-time hours, across 5 variable days which will include evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
Flexibility is essential to suit the needs of the business.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Ensuring that all preparation and presentation of food is in line with the company's high standards.
- Ensuring that all stock rotation is accurate and effective.
- Complying with all food hygiene regulations at all times.
- Assisting with pot washing.
- Helping with collecting tableware and plates within the restaurant area.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- Similar previous experience in a similar role.
- Catering qualifications are an advantage but not essential.
- A driving license would be an advantage to enable ease of travel to and from the resort.
