Insurance Claims Coordinator

About the Role:
Westone Housing Ltd, a leading provider of building and property conversion services, is seeking an experienced Insurance Claims Coordinator to join their team in Peterborough.
The successful candidate will be responsible for processing new claims, managing claim progression, and liaising with clients to ensure timely and efficient resolution of claims.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process new claims and manage claim lifecycles to ensure clients and policyholders are informed and aware of each stage of the claim process.
- Liaise with leak detection and drying technicians to ensure effective claim resolution.
- Monitor claim lifecycles to identify potential issues and take proactive steps to resolve them.
- Arrange leak detection and trace and access, book appointments for surveyors and validators, and arrange assessment of contents.
- Organize alternative accommodation and maintain regular communication with clients.
- Complete remote sign-off surveys and ensure all parties are updated on claim progress.
Requirements:
- Insurance claims handling experience, preferably in the property restoration industry.
- Cert CII qualification or equivalent.
- BDMA qualification or equivalent.
- Understanding of the insurance industry and its processes.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office packages and claim management tools such as Xactaware and Symbility.
