A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A RECEPTION SUPERVISOR AT HOTEL INDIGO

As a Reception Supervisor, reporting directly to the Reception Manager, your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring that every guest enjoys a memorable stay at Hotel Indigo, striving to be the premier hotel in the area.
  • Overseeing guest service operations.
  • Facilitating team training initiatives.
  • Organizing engaging activities for the team and recognizing special occasions.
  • Assisting with staff scheduling and rota management.
  • Supporting charitable events and community engagement.
  • Acting as a Fun Champion to promote a positive work environment.
  • Welcoming guests with a friendly demeanor during check-in and check-out.
  • Maintaining accurate records of guest bookings.
  • Providing information about hotel amenities, local transportation, and attractions.
  • Handling phone and email inquiries professionally.
  • Collaborating with housekeeping and maintenance to resolve guest complaints.
  • Staying informed about training opportunities within RBH and IHG.
