We are currently seeking a Contracts Specialist for Metering Services to enhance our Operational Team. This role will be pivotal in supporting both our clients and internal departments. Reporting to the Metering & Data Services Manager, your primary responsibilities will include developing and selling Meter Operator (MOP), Data Collector (DC), and Meter Asset Manager (MAM) contracts. You will engage directly with clients and collaborate with Customer Success Managers (CSMs) and the Commercial & Procurement teams to identify and promote sales opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

Relationship Management

  • Engage with clients to thoroughly understand their metering and data service requirements, aligning our contracting solutions accordingly.
  • Foster strong client relationships to enhance satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Customer Success Managers and Commercial & Procurement, to deliver comprehensive solutions.
  • Maintain regular communication with key support functions to address any concerns related to metering and data services.

Contract Negotiation

  • Work alongside clients and internal teams to negotiate favorable contract terms and implement effective pricing strategies for metering and data services.
  • Oversee the creation and management of ongoing MOP, DC, and MAM contracts.
  • Ensure smooth contract implementation and service delivery.
  • Conduct contract reviews to explore opportunities for expansion or upselling additional services.
  • Proactively manage contract renewals and address potential challenges.

Customer Growth and Retention

  • Develop strategic sales plans that align with customer opportunities, outlining actions, targets, and timelines.
  • Analyze customer data to pinpoint areas for enhancing metering and data services.
  • Identify and engage key clients to promote MOP, DC, and MAM services.
  • Formulate a portfolio strategy that addresses client needs and implements growth strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create proposals and presentations for upselling and cross-selling.
  • Conduct regular assessments of customer satisfaction and recommend tailored solutions.
  • Monitor key performance metrics and provide updates to management on progress.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and market developments.
