Deputy Manager - Nursing Home

South Coast Nursing Homes Ltd is a reputable and successful care home company based in Worthing, West Sussex. We operate 9 homes across East and West Sussex, providing high-quality care and comfort to residents. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our nursing home, Eastridge Manor.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver effective clinical leadership and line management to the clinical and non-clinical teams.
  • Assist with managing budgets and resources to ensure a cost-effective and efficient service.
  • Coordinate the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring the highest standards of resident care and comfort.
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of residents.
  • Collaborate with the management team to achieve business objectives and improve quality of care.
Requirements:
  • NMC Registered Adult Nurse/RGN or Mental Health Nurse/RMN.
  • Experience of working as a senior team member in a nursing home setting, specializing in dementia and nursing care for the elderly and frail.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of CQC essential standards and all legislation relevant to a nursing home.
  • Passion for delivering superior care and service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
