We are seeking an exceptional Counsellor to join our Student Services team at St Mary's University. As a Counsellor, you will provide highly professional counselling and wellbeing support to students on an individual basis, attending to a wide range of presenting issues throughout the referral process.
You will work as part of the larger Student Services team to ensure a joined-up approach to supporting students and providing high-level customer service to ensure all students' needs are met.
Key Responsibilities- Provide short-term counselling and assess risk to students with severe emotional and psychological mental health disorders
- Work with a holistic approach to students' needs and service provisions to enhance student engagement and contribute to the student experience
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the needs of a diverse and multi-cultural student population
- Collaborate with the Student Services team to ensure a seamless and supportive experience for students
