Electrical Operations Manager

As an Electrical Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing our electrical services team. Your expertise will guide a skilled group of electricians, ensuring that all electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance are executed to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of approximately 12 electricians, fostering a culture of excellence and safety.
- Conduct thorough pre and post-work audits to guarantee compliance with industry standards.
- Manage electrical projects with budgets up to £25K, coordinating resources and maintaining quality assurance.
- Implement safe working practices to protect team members and the public, ensuring all equipment is well-maintained.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including any variations or unmeasured tasks.
Qualifications:
We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:
- City and Guilds 2360 Part 1 and 2 in Electrical Installation.
- City and Guilds 2391 Part 1 and 2 in Electrical Inspection Testing and Certification or equivalent.
- Current City & Guilds electrical qualification to the latest edition of the electrical regulations or equivalent.
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent technical certification in electrical engineering.
- Achievement Level 2 (AM2) practical qualification.
Essential Skills:
- Proficient in IT, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to build and motivate effective teams.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Flexible working attitude with a customer-centric approach.
