As an Electrical Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing a dedicated team of electricians. Your expertise will guide the team in delivering exceptional electrical services, including repairs, maintenance, and installations. Reporting directly to the M&E Programme Manager, you will ensure that all work meets the highest standards of quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of approximately 12 electricians, fostering a culture of excellence and safety.
- Conduct thorough pre and post-work audits to ensure adherence to NICEIC standards.
- Manage electrical projects with budgets up to £25K, coordinating resources and maintaining quality control.
- Implement safe work practices to protect team members and the public.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, including any variations or unmeasured tasks.
Qualifications:
We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:
- City and Guilds 2360 Part 1 and 2 in Electrical Installation.
- City and Guilds 2391 Part 1 and 2 for Electrical Inspection Testing and Certification.
- Current City & Guilds electrical qualification compliant with the latest regulations.
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in electrical engineering.
- Achievement Level 2 (AM2) practical qualification.
Essential Skills:
Successful candidates will possess:
- Proficiency in IT, particularly Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong leadership abilities to motivate and build effective teams.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- A proactive and flexible approach to work, prioritizing customer satisfaction.
Working Environment:
This role offers a flexible working arrangement, allowing for a balance between various workspaces and home. A Full UK Driving Licence is essential for this position.
