About the Role

Pareto Facilities Management is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team as a Site Operations Specialist. As a key member of our technical services team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all technical systems and infrastructure at our events venue.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential issues and implement proactive solutions.
  • Collaborate with the events team to support event setups, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure seamless execution.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including records and reports, to ensure accurate tracking and compliance.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the client, including training and development of an Electrical Apprentice.
  • Participate in site and property teams, contributing technical input on security, health and safety, risk assessments, and other initiatives.
  • Work closely with the client and Pareto FM staff to develop and disseminate best practices in M&E maintenance and procedures.
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 3 minimum
  • Appropriate Inspection and Testing Qualification (C&G Electrical Installation, Testing 2391/2394/2395/AM2)
  • 17th and/or 18th edition
  • AM2 or equivalent (desirable)
  • IOSH Working/Managing Safety (desirable)
Preferred Skills
  • In-depth knowledge of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering
  • Preferred IPAF (3A – Mobile Vertical)
  • Ability to work unsupervised to a high quality
  • Open-minded approach to design and modification of existing systems
  • Electrically biased with a good knowledge of mechanical and building services
  • Familiarity with general risks and hazards associated with commercial building environments
  • Minimum of L8 Awareness formal training
  • Great understanding of legal compliance and how to achieve and maintain it to a high standard
  • Great communicator for both internal and external stakeholders
  • Good eye for innovation and improvement of existing systems and processes
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Windows-based systems
  • Sound knowledge of operating a software-based lighting controls system
  • In-depth knowledge of operating a Trend BMS system
