Position Overview

As a key player in our organization, the Electrical Manager will oversee a dedicated team of electricians, ensuring excellence in electrical maintenance, repairs, and installations. This role requires a hands-on approach, guiding a group of approximately 12 skilled professionals to deliver outstanding service while adhering to industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor a team of electricians, fostering a culture of high performance and safety.
  • Conduct pre and post-work audits to guarantee compliance with NICEIC standards.
  • Manage electrical projects with budgets up to £25K, coordinating resources and maintaining quality assurance.
  • Implement safe work practices to protect team members and the public.
  • Ensure all equipment is well-maintained and report any defects promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed, including variations and unmeasured tasks.

Qualifications:
We are seeking candidates with the following credentials:
  • City and Guilds 2360 Part 1 and 2 qualifications in Electrical Installation.
  • City and Guilds 2391 Part 1 and 2 qualifications for Electrical Inspection Testing and Certification.
  • Current City & Guilds electrical qualification aligned with the latest regulations.
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent technical certification in electrical engineering.
  • Achievement Level 2 (AM2) practical qualification.

  • Proficient in IT, particularly Microsoft Office applications.
