Visitor Centre Duty Supervisor

We have an exciting opportunity for a proactive and personable individual with robust administrative capabilities to play a crucial role in the seamless and effective daily operations of our Visitor Centre.

The Duty Supervisor position is centered around organization within a dynamic and fast-paced setting to guarantee a positive experience for all our visitors, whether they are exploring our shop, participating in a Brewery Tour, or utilizing our unique venues for events.

As a member of a team of six, you will collaborate closely with our tour guides and assistants, as well as internal partners in our Property, Brewing, and Retail divisions.

  • Full-time hours: 37.5 hours per week, spread across Monday to Sunday, including evenings. Actual hours will vary based on operational needs and will be communicated in advance.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the daily management of all Visitor Centre areas and operational delivery
  • Ensure a welcoming front-of-house presence for team members and customers at all times
  • Support in identifying opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction and expand the business
  • Identify new sales opportunities to maximize business growth
  • Build relationships with new and existing clients to encourage repeat business
  • Handle customer inquiries regarding future bookings
  • Assist in the execution of our functions and events, from room setup to closure
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Proven experience in a similar role, particularly in hospitality or front-of-house settings
  • Committed to delivering outstanding customer service for memorable experiences
  • Friendly and approachable, with the ability to navigate challenging conversations with external stakeholders, both in writing and verbally
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel & Outlook) with data analysis skills
  • Organized and capable of prioritizing tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment, assisting with various tasks as needed
  • Flexible to cover additional departmental responsibilities as required
