We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Office Manager and Executive Assistant to join our team at Bucks & Berks Recruitment PLC. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, supporting the Managing Director and other senior employees.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring a smooth and efficient working environment.
- Manage health and safety protocols, maintain records, and act as the onsite fire marshal and first aider.
- Provide general administrative support, including raising purchase orders, purchasing office supplies and equipment, and maintaining stock levels.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors, including cleaning, security, and maintenance providers.
- Support the Finance team with payroll, web filing, and annual confirmations at Companies House.
- Administer the Group Pension and Share schemes for all UK employees.
- Coordinate domestic travel for UK visitors, including flight, hotel, visa applications, and car rental reservations.
- Support the Managing Director in organizing board events and meetings.
- Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision and direction.
- Comfortable working and communicating at all levels of the organization and across departmental boundaries.
- Effective team player able to positively interact with all company employees.
- Proven ability to problem-solve and think critically.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Patience and composure under pressure.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
- High proficiency in MS Office Tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project).
- Full clean driving license is desirable.
- A competitive salary of £35k - £40k depending on experience, plus bonus and benefits.
