Job Title: Evaluation Coordinator

The University of Cambridge is seeking an experienced Evaluation Coordinator to join its Widening Participation team. The successful candidate will play a key role in evaluating the impact of the Neaco consortium activities, working closely with the Executive and Steering Groups to develop effective methods of demonstrating impact.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement innovative approaches to evaluating Neaco activities, using experimental methodologies where appropriate.
  • Work closely with designers and deliverers of Neaco material to ensure that evaluation is integral to the sessions and resources offered to schools and colleges.
  • Assist with the completion of OfS operating plans and monitoring returns as required.
  • Attend OfS and HEAT briefing meetings.
  • Engage with the Higher Education Access Tracker (HEAT) NCOP initiative and upload data onto the HEAT database.

Requirements:

  • Detailed knowledge of recruitment and widening participation to Higher Education (HE) in the UK.
  • Experience of working in an educational environment.
  • Capacity to collect and analyse quantitative and qualitative data using a variety of techniques.
  • Ability to take initiative and be proactive with ideas and methods of evaluation.
