Electrical Commissioning Engineer

RSE is seeking an experienced Electrical Commissioning Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our commissioning department, you will be responsible for the commissioning of LV Electrical systems, instrumentation, and control systems, including MCCs and associated field equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop commissioning plans, site commissioning files, methodologies, programs, method statements, and risk assessments to support project teams.
  • Monitor standards to ensure specification compliance and quality standards are strictly maintained.
  • Carry out commissioning of LV Electrical systems, instrumentation, and control systems, including MCCs and associated field equipment.
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, line diagrams, and P&IDs.
  • Complete SAT and Asset Start-up.
  • Complete commissioning documentation.
  • Participate in HAZCOMM activities for various projects as required.
Requirements:
  • Educated to HND/HNC level or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in mechanical and electrical engineering, with full commissioning phase experience (installation, dry, wet, process testing).
  • Previous experience holding SAP or AP position and of PTW systems.
  • Experience in executing pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for clean and wastewater projects on both new build and retrofit sites.
  • Experience in FAT, SAT testing, and fault finding.
  • Experience in telemetry end-to-end testing.
  • Profibus, Installation, and Commissioning Certification.
  • Full UK driving license.
