Educational Support Facilitator


U-Educate is seeking an Educational Support Facilitator to join our dedicated team in a secondary educational setting. This role is designed for individuals who are passionate about enhancing student learning experiences and fostering academic growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and assist students on a one-on-one or small group basis.
  • Deliver tailored educational support as required.
  • Enhance the learning outcomes and achievements of students.
  • Encourage student independence, self-confidence, and social integration.
  • Facilitate access to the complete curriculum for all students.
  • Maintain a positive and constructive learning atmosphere by managing student behavior.
  • Address inquiries and provide assistance to students as needed.
  • Exhibit high levels of motivation and enthusiasm.
  • Set and uphold high expectations for student performance and potential.
  • Collaborate effectively as part of a team to support a specific student with unique cognitive and physical requirements.
  • Assist with personal care and medical needs of students when necessary, following local authority guidelines (comprehensive training will be provided).

Essential Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a learning support role.
  • Relevant educational qualifications.
  • Ability to successfully complete an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check for working with minors.
  • Current Safeguarding Training (opportunities for free training are available).

Contract Details:

  • 36.5 hours per week.
  • Term Time only.
