Job Title: Warehouse Team Leader

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join our team at Uxbridge Employment Agency. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for leading a team of drivers and warehouse operatives, ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and delivery services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Warehouse Management: Plan, coordinate, and monitor material processing, ensuring efficient use of resources and space.
  • Team Leadership: Motivate, organize, and encourage teamwork within the workforce to achieve productivity targets.
  • Driver Management: Coach and motivate drivers to adhere to company policies, procedures, and health and safety guidelines.
  • Inventory Control: Conduct regular stock control checks and ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Quality Control: Maintain high standards of quality control and ensure that all products meet our quality standards.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety protocols are consistently followed within the work environment.
  • Facility Security: Perform key holder responsibilities, including securing the facility.
  • Housekeeping: Uphold strong housekeeping standards and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements:

  • Operational Skills: Proficiency in operating both counterbalance and reach forklift trucks.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to lead, inspire, and motivate a team.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Driving License: A clean, full driving license is desirable.
