We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Supply Chain Planner to join our team at The Advocate Group. As a key member of our EMEA events team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain.
Key Responsibilities- Material Planning: Create and implement material plans to ensure the necessary supplies, ingredients, and packaging are available for production.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and control raw material and packaging stock levels to prevent excess or outdated stock and ensure timely deliveries.
- Supplier Coordination: Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and maintain a positive relationship.
- Forecasting: Use forecasting tools and past data to refine demand projections and make informed decisions.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve processes within the supply chain, such as simplifying procurement and reducing lead times.
- Reporting: Analyze production, inventory, and supplier data to prepare reports for management and inform decision-making.
- Experience: Solid experience as an MRP Planner or in a similar supply planning role within the FMCG industry.
- Technical Skills: Comfortable using MRP/ERP software like SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms, and skilled in using demand forecasting tools and processes.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with a knack for interpreting data to guide decisions.
- Communication Skills: Great communication and negotiation skills to effectively collaborate with suppliers and plants.
- Adaptability: Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adjusting to changing priorities and managing a complex portfolio.
