Job Title: UPS Technical Manager

At Vertiv, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced UPS Technical Manager to join our team in Bedford, United Kingdom. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for managing a team of Field Service engineers and ensuring the delivery of exceptional service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of UPS Field Service engineers and ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent service to customers.
  • Develop and implement technical strategies to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to Field Service engineers and other teams as needed.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • 5 years' experience as a UPS Field Service engineer.
  • 10 years in the Electrical/Electronic Industry or similar.
  • Strong focus on customer satisfaction and long-term customer relation building.
  • HNC/HND in Electrical/Electronic engineering or equivalent.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Self-motivated and capable of operating with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to successfully interface with various departments and personnel in potentially stressful situations.
