We are seeking a skilled Gardener to join our team at St Monica Trust. As a Gardener, you will be responsible for maintaining our building and grounds services, ensuring the safety and enjoyment of our residents, visitors, and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain lawns, borders, flowerbeds, paths, ponds, and indoor planting to a high standard.
- Provide excellent customer service to residents, colleagues, and visitors, responding to queries and offering advice and support.
- Work collaboratively with the Estates team to carry out additional security and maintenance duties, adhering to Trust policies and procedures and health and safety legislation.
- Assist with additional duties such as setting up site events and activities, collecting recycling and waste, and responding to site emergencies.
- Drive Trust vehicles, including the minibus, as required.
- Experience working as a gardener, with practical knowledge of using machinery and chemicals safely.
- Ability to carry out a range of practical tasks, including basic maintenance and security.
- Current, clean full driving licence or ability to travel efficiently across our villages.
- Desirable qualifications include RHS level 2 certificate, Pa1 and Pa6a certificate, chainsaw certificate, and D1 category or PCV driving licence with minibus driving experience.
